Firefox 5.0.1 has just released and it’s the first update of Firefox 5 Final Version. If you read my previous post about the release of Firefox 5 Final, you would find several fixes and new features when compared with Firefox 4 Final. Now let’s take a look at the fixes and improvement of Firefox 5.0.1 compared with Firefox 5.0 Final:

1. Crash problems on Mac OS X 10.7 has been fixed.
2. Error issue with Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 5 has been fixed.
Yep, there are only 2 bug fixes on Firefox 5.0.1 but it’s really useful for you who had experience with Firefox crash on Mac OS X 10.7 and unloaded java plugin on Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 5. After update Firefox 5.0.1, those problems should’ve been resolved.
